As a legendary soaring venue with a rich history of exciting contest flying Uvalde will host a contest each year leading up to the 38th FAI World Gliding Championships in 2024. Pilots of all levels are invited to participate in the events leading up to the Championships in 2024. The emphasis will be on fun flying and learning with Cross Country camps, OLC flying, and Regional contests.
